Today On Entertainment Tonight
We have reporter Jiekabeu. We have just received information about the Write Alaska class ditching the Science Alaska class to go on an awesome hike in the rain, where they had a chance to get their shoes soaked and muddy. From the trail they were hiking on to the resting point beside the Eagle River. From our top secret agent we have obtained data on the activities they enjoyed in sarcasm. They started off with walking through the woods to get to their destination. Then they stopped by Eagle River to participate in various exercises. One of them involved skipping rocks into the river or who could throw the farthest rock. Another consisted of writing an inspirational haiku. If you don't know the definition of the word haiku, it is a Japanese poem that has only three lines. The first line is five syllables, the second line seven, and the last five syllables. After a while, they decided to headed back to headquarters. Some of the students sang some platoon songs and others argued about which way to go.
Today with the Agent
Today's trip wasn't really what I expected. It rained before we got off campus, then when we got off the bus we gathered into our groups to decide who was going to hike the trails and who was staying back at the center. Sadly, my group had to hike the trails not knowing it was very muddy. I walked into a lot of disappointment. That was very uncool and halfway through the hike we had to walk along this stream that soaked my shoes like crazy. It didn't feel comfortable at all. We were close to the center when Fili started singing marching songs out loud to scare away any animals and believe me he did. Even though there were arguments our group stuck with the hike and made it through!
