Hello! I love summer and the Alaska outdoors. What a great way to earn some credit! The world around us is so amazing; I hope my enthusiasm will rub off a little.

For my normal life I teach science at Benny Benson, a school I love dearly. I am married and have the cutest boy EVER (ok, I'm a little biased).
Graham is 18 months old and is just starting to talk. My husband, Trevor, is an English teacher at Chugiak.

I love traveling and now my husband has the travel bug too! We've been to Thailand, Peru, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands. We also travel to Florida quite often to visit family. It's a great place to visit in the winter. Our whole family enjoys scuba diving. In fact, my husband proposed to me while we were under water!! One of my biggest goals is to work on Antarctica. Don't you think that would be "cool"?
