Day 4- Byron Glacier

"Trail Of Destiny"

Once upon a time there was a group of people that were reaching their destination of coolness. Byron Glacier was their relief from the heat. At the beginning of their journey they saw a warning about a bear being in the area the day before. Without fear, people began to head on their path of fate. They were glad to hear the running stream flow at the side of the trail. Past the trees, they saw the glacier, and became more determined to reach it. As they came to the opening to the shore, people were joyous, and ran to the stream to feel the chilling water.
As we got there, people made snowballs, and soon were told not to. The view of the glacier was beautiful. We saw the clear blue water; people decided to cool off by dipping their heads into the magical water. The hike for the cold was worth it to get a break from the heat.
Darin rounded up the pack to go back to the bus. On our journey back, we viewed colorful plants, green trees, and other visitors. I guess this glacier is very popular to visit because of the views. Than our epic trip ended, people were tired, and took naps.

The bus ride to Byron Glacier was nice, but it was very long and lots of people were getting tired on the way there. We finally got there and had lunch. There were BLT's that were really good! The hike wasn't that long, it was about 20 to 25 min. The glacier was beautiful and huge! There was also a small waterfall at the top of the glacier; it was so cool! On the way back to the bus we saw lots of people on their way to see the glacier. When we got on the bus, everyone was a little tired, and some people fell asleep.
