My Flower!

This flower is classified as a fireweed. This picture was taken at Artic Valley, on July 18, 2011. Fireweed can grow up to 7 feet tall, but this species of fireweed is a dwarf fireweed. It is shorter than normal fireweed because it grows on a mountain. As you can see, its four pedals are a very bright magenta, and its stem is a deep red color. This is one of my favorite pictures that I took that day.
